Seal the Seasons

Seal the Seasons is building a local and inclusive food system by creating new connections between farmers and eaters. We offer our customers convenient and affordable products so they can eat healthy, delicious produce all year round.

Seal the Seasons is a local frozen food company working to bolster rural economies and improve the health of families who live and work within them. We collaborate with local family farms to freeze, market, and distribute frozen fruits and vegetables, making local produce available in grocery stores throughout the year. By adding value to local agricultural products, we are changing the way North Carolinians support small farmers and their communities. Our innovative approach helps family farms become more sustainable by introducing their goods into large-scale supply chains. We are deeply committed to helping small North Carolina farmers earn a decent living while ensuring the fruits of their labor stay in their communities to feed and nourish their neighbors.

Our mission isn’t limited to supporting farmers. According to the North Carolina Association of Feeding America Food Banks, one in four children in North Carolina are food insecure. Food insecurity greatly influences health, and research indicates a positive association between hunger and the risk for developing chronic disease. We believe everyone has a right to eat real, healthy food. That is why Seal the Seasons devotes 20% of our profits to fight hunger in North Carolina, supporting the invaluable efforts of our non-profit partners. Join us – support your local farmer and help us end hunger. Together, we can all be a part of building a new, more inclusive local food system that allows everyone the opportunity to eat healthy, local food.
